(The Caribbean
is saturated, and the Amazonian is opening other fronts
in the fashion of the cruises. There is a lot of money in
that business. While the Caribbean and Bahamas receive 56%
of the passengers' ships, Brazil, with 8.000 kilometers
of coast, has only 1% of the movement of 8 billions of the

They are 241 Transatlantic crossing the seas in search of
tranquility, pleasure and entertainment, besides the 59
that are under construction. To conquer the tourists that
travel in Cruises is the goal of this project. The Prata
Basin with its cultural diversity, a patrimony enviable,
beautiful historical landscapes, and varied climate, besides
the cooking diversity is without a doubt one of the most
attractive regions in the world.
We asked: If " the
rivers of the Amazonian are an opportunity to turn the game
" as affirms Minister Caio, saying, therefore the Prata
Basin, with more than 15 thousand kilometers of extension
with only the main rivers, passing by 5 countries and 8
Brazilian states where we can add to that potential the
rich reservoir of pure water under our feet with more liquid
than the existent of all the rivers in the world or in other
words, 50 quadrillions of liters of water which is in the
Aqüífero Guarani.
The river system
of River Prata, one of the largest of the world, embraces
a surface of 3.100.000 Km2, composed by the basins: River
Paraguay (2.477 Km), River Paraná (3.940 Km) and
River Uruguay (1.600 Km).
